Anthurium Baphomet x BC pap
Baphomet seed parent has gorgeous maroon emergents that harden off dark with clappy lobes & pillowy texture.
Black Cherry pap '2' has such incredible emergent colouring that transitions to red adaxial veins as the leaf hardens, eventually fading to a nice golden orange.
My goal with this hybrid was to combine the pillowy texture & slender shape of the seed parent with the red features & even more gorgeous emergents of the pollen parent.
I'm hoping that the seed parent has enough recessive red traits to pass red traits onto a decent percentage of the offspring, but I can make no promises as to the traits of the offspring of this crossing.
