The Plant Plug Shipping Policy
At The Plant Plug, we don’t gamble with live plants. Our shipping schedule and methods ensure your plants and seeds arrive in the best possible condition.
Shipping Schedule
• All orders are shipped on Mondays and/or Tuesdays to minimize transit time and ensure arrival within the same week.
• Orders must be received by 12 PM (AEST) Sunday to be shipped that week. Orders placed after this cutoff will be shipped the following week.
Shipping Method
• We use Australia Post Express Parcel for all shipments.
• We do NOT ship to PO Boxes, Parcel Collect, or Parcel Lockers. A physical residential or business address is required.
Packaging
• Plants are shipped in their pots unless otherwise specified.
• Seeds are shipped in damp paper towel to maintain viability during transit.
Restricted Locations
• Shipping to NT, TAS, and WA is by prior arrangement only. If you’re in these areas, contact us before ordering.
• Alternatively you may arrange for a concierge service. We recommend Uprooted Plant Concierge
Weather Delays
• We reserve the right to delay shipping if we determine that weather conditions are too hot or too cold for safe plant transit. If this happens, we’ll notify you and ship as soon as conditions improve.
By placing an order, you agree to these terms. We ship strong plants—but where they land is up to you.
