Massive pillowy leaves with really unique purple undertone & bleeding emerald colouring surrounding the veins.
Pollen parent: Anthurium 'Black' x
Dark, wide/flat sinus, gorgeous emergents, spidery veins. Really nice plant that I'm excited to use in more crosses.
The goal
EE's 'Black' line seems to carry a mutation that results in variegation. My hypothesis was that using two plants both from that same line could result in variegated offspring. Please don't purchase expecting variegated seedlings, because I have no clue whether they'll be variegated or not.
Other crosses using this seed parent, while still small, have resulted in progeny showing the same purple hue. I think there's possibly potential for some flat-ish sinus offspring with nice purple colouring, but again can't make any promises on the phenotypical expression of offspring.
