Anthurium 'Deadpool' x 'Calculus'
This cross was a no-brainer for me. Both plants are insanely dark, if you've seen them in person, you know exactly what I mean.
It's quite hard to capture but this particular Calculus has such deep red abaxial surface that they appear almost maroon, along with deep red colouring in & near the veins on the adaxial surface.
Given that both plants have quite strong red traits that I'm hoping will be amplified in the offspring.
With this pairing, I'm hoping for elongate + big lobes, maybe slightly sub-velvet leaves, bullate texture, with a dark sheen & strong red traits.
