The variegated seed parent has quite stable variegation with a nice balance of mottled & sectoral yellow + orange var. Elongate, big lobes, dark base colour with blue undertones.
Pollen parent has insane purple oil slick emergents from the besseae aff parentage, hardening off with a deep blue/purple sheen.
The goal here was simple. After doing some other variegated besseae aff hybrids, the purple emergents combined with the orange variegation just looks insane.
Hoping for more of that in this cross, with deep blue undertones overlaid with yellow & orange variegation.
