Where to even begin with this one? I'll let the photos do the talking.
The seed parent is one of my favourite variegated parents. New leaves emerge bright pink with green splotches before fading to a very light matcha green splattered with darker pattern; and finally fading to a deeper green on green after a couple of leaves.
The pollen parent is the reddest from this batch I grew. Emergents are bright red, before hardening off to almost black & retaining red in the sinus.
The goal here is just to see how dark we can go while hopefully retaining the pink variegation.
As with all variegated crosses, variegation is unpredictable by nature & we can't guarantee what percentage, if any, of the seeds will grow into variegated plants.
