The seed parent, (carla dress x pap RL s1) '2', is insanely velvet, with heavy texture and near-black tones, with pink/purple emergent adaxial veins.
The pollen parent, (carla dress x pap RL s1) 'Loki', was selected for it's elongate shape, wide/flat sinus & spidery veining. Leaves emerge with gorgeous red features, and we hope that this will mesh nicely with the red colouring from the seed parent.
The goal here is the shape & veining of the pollen parent with the insane texture & improved red traits from the seed parent. Either way, this cross has been one of our favourite crosses we've grown to date, with a high percentage of outstanding offspring, and we expect no different from this f2 batch.
