Seed parent: Anthurium (papillilaminum 'Red Abaxial' hybrid) 'Dropbear'
From a batch that was sold as papillilaminum 'Red Abaxial' x self. Was obviously contaminated, however the plant is now one of my favourites. Gorgeous maroon emergents that harden off to big round pillowy leaves with red abaxial veins & deep colour.

Pollen parent: Anthurium NOID 'Jayda'
Lost tag hybrid created by John & Aida. Absolutely gorgeous spidery veins & strong red features. Stunning emergents with hot pink veins.

The goal
After seeing some of the other Dropbear hybrids I've made, many of them have red & purple abaxial veins & incredibly dark leaf colour. I'm hoping that pairing it with a plant with incredible adaxial vein colouring like Jayda, atleast some of the offspring will keep the deep colour & pillowy texture of the seed parent, but with improved colour from the pollen parent.

Given that both the parents are complex hybrids, I can't guarantee what the offspring will look like, but that's part of the fun & the reason why I love complex mixes so much.

All seeds are shipped in damp paper towel in mylar ziplock bags & then securely packed in a mailing box with an air gap surrounding them to help protect them from the elements.

All orders are shipped via Auspost Express from our facility in Adelaide, South Australia.

To ensure that your order arrives in the best condition, we ship on Mondays to allow time incase of any shipping delays.

Orders received by 11:59pm Sunday are shipped via Auspost Express on Monday.
Orders received after 12:00am Monday will ship the following week.

Yup, unlike your Tinder matches, our plants won’t catfish you. Unless explicitly stated, the plant you see is the plant you will receive.

We try to avoid causing any unnecessary stress to your new plant. Unless stated, all plants are shipped in their pots & medium.
