Seed parent: Anthurium forgetii hybrid variegated
Variegated forgetii hybrid with consistent balanced mottled & sectoral variegation. Leans more towards the orange side & slowly fades to a peachy creamy white. Seems to throw leaves with a mix of peltate & semi-peltate sinus.
Pollen parent: Anthurium NOID 'Jayda'
Lost tag hybrid created by John & Aida. Absolutely gorgeous spidery veins & strong red features. Stunning emergents with hot pink veins. The red vein plexus & deep red/purple veins hold well for leaves on end, beating out even some of my nicest red crystallinums.
The goal
I mean, the ideal outcome would be Jayda but with variegation or the seed parent with vein colouring from Jayda. I'm not sure how likely that is, but I'm hoping atleast some of the offspring will inherit the colouring from the pollen parent.
The variegation in this plant is very consistent & the infructescence that these berries was harvested from was nicely variegated. In my experience this is usually a good indicator that many of the seeds will result in variegated seedlings.
However, as variegation is a random genetic mutation, I can't guarantee if or how many of the seeds you purchase will result in variegated plants.

All seeds are shipped in damp paper towel in mylar ziplock bags & then securely packed in a mailing box with an air gap surrounding them to help protect them from the elements.
All orders are shipped via Auspost Express from our facility in Adelaide, South Australia.
